Immigration Aid Manchester
Independent legal advice & representation from the
Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit
Who We Are

We are an independent solicitors' organisation which is a
charitable company.  That means we don't operate for a profit
which is paid to an owner or shareholders.

What We Do

We advise and represent clients in immigration, asylum and
nationality law matters.  We provide this service for free to
those who qualify for assistance under the Legal Help scheme.

We work with clients living in Greater Manchester.  Clients can
attend our drop in advice sessions on Wednesday mornings
click
here for more details.

Clients can also be referred to us from other agencies.  We
can also visit clients in prison or hospital.

We can, in very exceptional cases, help clients who don't live in
Greater Manchester but do live in the North West of England
where they cannot get the specialist legal advice and
representation that they need.

When we first meet a client we will assess them for Legal Help
from the government.  If a client is not eligible for legal help we
may be able to them from our legal welfare fund.
