The Duty Advice Service (Drop-in) service

If you need advice we may be able to help you if you come to the duty advice service on Tuesday morning. We open the door at 8.00am and can see a limited number of people. It is recommended that you come early to have a chance to be seen.

You should remember to bring all the letters that you have received from the Home Office about your case. If you don't bring them we cannot advise you properly and we'll ask you to come back another time.

If we can't see you we will give you details of other immigration advice services in your area.

We can only advise people who live in Greater Manchester.

We have access to telephone interpreting at most times but if you have a friend who can help you interpret this will help.

You will need to bring all your immigration papers and evidence of your financial situation. Please see the section 'documents to bring with you' for full details.
