Documents to bring with you

If you are thinking of coming to the drop-in service you will need to bring all your documents with you. We will also need to see evidence that you are financially eligible for Legal Help. You need to bring:

- all documents relating to your case. Please bring everything you have including your passport, any letters from the home office and anything relating to previous decisions that have been made about your case, any evidence you have to support your case, and evidence of your income, savings, and regular outgoings and living costs. This may include recent pay-slips, bank statements, NASS or social services letters.

This will help the adviser to assess whether we can help you and whether you are eligible for free legal advice.

Please note that without this evidence we will be unable to carry out any work on your case. If you are not eligible for free legal help we will give you details of private fee paying solicitors.
