About Immigration Aid Manchester

The Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit - to give our full
title - started in 1989 arising out of anti-deportation campaigns
in the North West.

Since our humble beginnings we have grown to a staff of 15
people and have spent over £5,300,000 helping our clients get
access to justice.  You can our annual report
here

We are funded from a range of sources, mainly the Legal
Services Commission, but also Manchester City and Tameside
Councils as well as a range of other community groups who
directly support us.  Click
here for more information.

We are a registered charity (No: 1123908) and continue to
help some of the most desperate, and poor, members of our
society in their search for justice.

We are regulated by the
Solicitors' Regulation Authority.
