What You Need

When you come along for your first appointment you will need to
bring:

  • All documents you have from the Home Office
  • Any papers you have regarding your case
  • Details of what income you receive, any savings you have
    and what outgoings you have.
  • If you don't speak English very well then bring a friend or
family member for your first visit - for later visits we can
    arrange for an interpreter.

What Will Happen

When you come along to a drop-in, or for an initial appointment,
a case worker will listen to your story and ask a few questions to
fully understand your immigration, asylum or nationality matter.
This will help us to work out if we can help you.  If we can't help
you we will try to suggest other sources of support.

If We Can Help

We will ask you to sign an agreement allowing us to represent
you, and some forms to see if you qualify for the Government's
Legal Help scheme.  If you don't qualify we may be able to help
you from our hardship fund.

was always
patient to
explain and
explain again
when I
repeatedly
asked the

questions.”
